CCAC Representatives attend Mergers and Acquisition Workshop sponsored by Federal Trade Commission.
Director, CCAC Mrs. Dawn Cush and Mr. Anil Sukhdeo, Economist attached to the Competition Policy Unit of the CCAC benefited from a three-day training workshop which focused on “Merger Control for Competition Authorities in the Caribbean”. The Workshop was held in Trinidad and Tobago from September 18 to 20 and was facilitated and sponsored by the United States, Federal Trade Commission.
The training is a timely one since the CCAC is currently in the process of having a draft local Mergers and Acquisition Bill be considered for adoption for Guyana.
