CCAC and Barbados Fair Trading Commission (BFTC) today signed a MOU which formalizes the friendship and collaboration between the two Commissions. Dr. Troy Waterman of BFTC said that the agreement allows the Commissions to work together to address competition issues within the respective jurisdiction.
The signing was done by the CCAC’s Director, Dawn Cush and BFTC Chief Executive Officer, Sandra Sealy.
Director Cush highlighted that “we are bound by the Revised Treaty of Chaguramas which at Article 170 section 1 (b) (111) seeks to establish and maintain institutional arrangements and administration procedures to enforce competition laws.
